What Habits can Lead to Unhealthy Teeth?

Unhealthy teeth and regular trips to the dentist can be associated just as much with bad habits as with poor brushing techniques. What are some common mistakes to avoid at all costs? The list below may surprise you.

– Failing to brush the tongue can lead to a build-up of bacteria within the mouth.

– Eating sugary foods without rinsing with water immediately after may contribute to the development of cavities.

– Using teeth to open or cut objects such as plastic bags.
