Access

The treatment room areas are situated on the first floor, up a flight of stairs.

We have installed an electric chairlift to enable those who find our stairs a little steep to get to our upstairs surgeries effortlessly. There is an access ramp available by request for disabled customers to gain access to the building. We also have a transfer board to help you move easily from the wheelchair to the dental chair. The dental chairs are ‘knee-break’ design allowing you to sit upright before being reclined for treatment. Please note weight restrictions apply – chair lift 160kg, dental chairs 135kg & 165kg.

As dental professionals we are concerned about the health and safety aspects of treating all our patients as we have both a duty of care to you and a legal obligation under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to operate in a safe environment. It is our responsibility to ensure our patients are aware of our dental chairs weight limitation, which are 21 and 25 stone. If you are over the weight limit of our dental chairs then we may need to arrange a referral for treatment at an alternative location, using a specialist bariatric chair.
