Just as a single tooth can be replaced with a dental implant, All-on-Four implants are used when a number of teeth are missing or need replacing.
Instead of a single implant being inserted into the jaw, the dentist inserts four implants in strategic locations — the foundation for dental crowns.
All-on-Four implants are generally used for patients who:
- Are missing several teeth
- Have low bone density in the jaw
- Cannot wear dentures
As with single implants, All-on-Four implants are permanent although they may need repairs or replacing after a number of years. Read more at https://yourdentalhealthresource.com/who-might-benefit-from-all-on-four-dental-implants/
