We have always been taught that clean teeth are healthy and free from cavities. Unfortunately, studies show that excessive cleaning is actually dangerous.
Here are harmful teeth-cleaning techniques you should avoid:
– Using mouthwash three times a day has been linked to oral cancer and teeth sensitivity.
– Brushing aggressively using a hard-bristled toothbrush destroys your enamel and exposes your dentin, resulting in yellow teeth.
– Flossing more than once per day can cause tear and wear of gum tissue.
See the dentist regularly for checkups and treatments.
