Although it is quite normal to be a little apprehensive about visiting the dentist for some people the sense of dread and fear is almost overpowering. This is known as dental anxiety, and is a problem for many people.
Conquering dental anxiety is possible with the assistance of your friendly dentist who can:
- Explain exactly what is involved in any procedure
- Discuss which tools will be used and how
- Offer sedation if necessary
If dental anxiety is a real concern that cannot be overcome be sure your dentist offers sedation dentistry and discuss which type will work best for you as every case is different. Read more at https://yourdentalhealthresource.com/when-visiting-the-dentist-your-comfort-comes-first/
