One of the common causes of jaw pain is teeth that are not properly aligned. This discomfort is associated with the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and it is important to have this condition diagnosed by a dentist. Why might this pain occur?
– A misaligned bite will place uneven amounts of pressure upon the jaw.
– In turn, the muscles can become fatigued over time.
– There are even instances when headaches can occur as a result.
”With some patients, an improper bite is apparent through their appearance, but many times, the signs are not so obvious.”
