While all of us enjoy Halloween traditions, no one wishes to endure a trip to the dentist as a result of tooth decay. This is why it is important to carefully choose which candies you consume. Here are three professional recommendations to keep in mind during a craving:
- Avoid gummy candies that can easily become stuck in crevices between teeth.
- Choose healthier alternatives such as dark chocolate, nuts or sugar-free gum.
- Always brush and floss after eating any candy.
“When it comes to keeping your teeth safe this Halloween, try focusing on candies that are better for you.”
