A deep clean at the dentist is beneficial for a number of reasons:
– A deep clean removes tartar buildup at the gum line that cannot be removed by brushing with a toothbrush.
– During a deep clean, the dentist will inspect gums carefully, meaning that any gum problems such as gum disease are spotted early.
– A deep clean also removes surface stains from the teeth (e.g. from coffee), resulting in a much brighter smile.
“Working with an experienced dentist is the only way to ensure this type of cleaning is performed correctly.”
