Many people put off going to the dentist due to dental phobia. If you want to try to overcome your phobia, here’s how to start.
– Discuss your fears with your current dentist; they can explain how they can help, such as with dental sedation.
– Find a dentist that specialises in anxious patients and arrange a consultation to discuss your fears.
– If you have severe phobia about dental treatment, consider counselling to help you become more comfortable.
“Dental anxiety and dental phobia prevent patients all over the world from seeking the preventative care they need as well as restorative care.”
