Caring for Your Teeth and Gums While Ill
Even if you happen to be sick, there is no reason to neglect caring for your teeth and gums. This is why every dentist recommends that you make it a point to emphasise oral care.
Let’s take a quick look at three points to keep in mind:
- Choose sugar-free cough drops if they are required.
- Be sure to brush and floss on a daily basis.
- If you vomit, wash your mouth out with water.
“Proper hydration supports adequate saliva in the oral cavity, which helps protect your teeth from bacteria.”
